Information & Tour Condition

Reservation and Confirmation
Reservation can be made by fax or Email. Once the reservation is confirm, the client has to provide the naming list and room arrangements 14 days prior to arrival. If you are buying the whole package from us, we would provide a letter of confirmation for package visa application in order to avoid changing FEC on arrival.
Deposits/Payments
An advance deposit of 20% of the selling price per person is needed to pay at the time of confirmation. The balance of the full tour prices will be done upon arrival by cash or by Telegraphic Transfer.
Cancellation and Refund
Cancellation should be made by written notification to our office at least 14 days prior to arrival. No refund will be made to those participants who break the journey in the itinerary, regardless of whatever portions remain uncovered in it.

Child Rates (under 12 years old)
- 50% of adult's rate for without bed, sharing with two adults.
- 75% of adult's rate with extra bed, sharing with two adults.
Child Rates (under 2 years old)
- No charges.
Tour Prices
All tour prices are quoted in US Dollars net per person. Tour prices include all accommodations based on two persons sharing one twin bed room, full breakfast at confirmed hotels, and lunch and dinner at first class local restaurants, all internal transportation and transfers, all sightseeing and excursions as listed in the itinerary and an accompanying guide.

Cancellation
Cancellation charges are calculated from the day written notification is received. Cancellation fees are as follows.
15 days prior to arrival 10%
14-7 days prior to arrival 30%
less than 7 days prior to arrival 80%
Cancellation Fees & Refunds
OD Tour understands that cancellations are a part of the travel business. So we try to be as flexible as possible with our policy. Company operation and communication costs and direct charges which may be levied by our local providers such as hotels, airlines, etc. Will normally be charged to the client. We will always try to minimize any cancellation fees to all our clients. We do recommend that our clients carry adequate travel insurance which cover costs in case a cancellation charge is required.
During peak season travel times and for certain size groups there may be special cancellation fees so please inquire when booking.
After commencement of travel no refund either in full or in part, will be given for unused services included in the program unless it is directly caused by Oriental Dragon Travels & Tours Co., Ltd.
Visa
A visa is required in advance but if information is made one month in advance, visa on arrival can be arranged by Oriental Dragon Travels & Tours Co., Ltd. 0n its part will also inform the respective Myanmar Embassy of your tour arrangement in advance. Entry Visa for package Tourist is valid for 28 days. Tourists who will be traveling to Myanmar on a Oriental Dragon package tour should present a copy of the Oriental Dragon confirmation of travel arrangements along with the visa application to any Myanmar Embassy and Holders of this visa need not exchange US$200 to Foreign Exchange Certificate (FEC) 200 upon arrival at Yangon International Airport.
Airport tax
Any passengers departing Myanmar on International flight will need to pay a departure tax of US$ 10:00.
Climate & Weather
Myanmar has three seasons.
• Cool Season - October through February
with average temperatures 20-24 C
• Hot Season - March through May
with average temperatures 30-35 C
• Wet Season - June through September
with average temperatures 25-30 C
Complimentary Policy
The 16th member of a group will be complimentary on half twin basis subject to a maximum limit of two members.
Credit Cards
Presently credit cards are not generally by accept in Myanmar so you should carry sufficient cash to cover you are in country expenses. Please check with our office if you need updated information before your arrival. Banks are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and all public holidays.
Currency
We recommend visitors to bring US Dollars cash (small denomination notes). US Dollars are widely accepted throughout Myanmar and are easily exchangeable for the local Kyat currency.
Traveler Cheque
Traveler Cheque are not accepted at present.
Domestic Airline & Flights
Air Bagan, Air Mandalay and Yangon Airways are privately operated airlines flying throughout Myanmar. There is a 20 Kilo limit for baggage per person and excess baggage fees may be charged. We suggest you leave items not needed upcountry in Yangon and collect them upon your return.
Drinking Water
Only drink purified bottle water. Bottled water is readily available and some hotels provide complimentary. Carry a bottle with you throughout the day.
